Classicism, in the arts, has an emphasis on form, simplicity, proportion, clarity of structure, perfection, restrained emotion, as well as explicit appeal to the intellect. The art of classicism typically seeks to be formal and restrained. My New Classicism is an amused look at our present cultural-social-political world. It is both serious and comical.
