Apparently Iām not the only one thinking this (Looks at comment above) but it makes me think of a contrast between life and death also. The leaf is dead, and water which could easily represent life is on it. Maybe it's only a drop because that's a measure of how much life is left in that leaf, or maybe the drop of water will sink into the dry leaf and bring a drop of life back into it.

I love the detail and the depth of field, but I'm not sure I like the water droplet. I think it works without....but it is still a great picture.
