Joining Talon — Description
Hello, all my lovely blood-cookies. So, you may have noticed that I have been gone for about a month. Well, there was a time when I was put into a job in this group called "Talon". Some group that have been a pain in the ass for some "Overwatch" team. Sounds like THOSE guys are a bunch of fruit baskets, if you ask me. I mean, the smartest guy in their team is a gorilla. So, what does THAT say?

Anyway, I'm sure you guys would be wondering: "Well, Rubes, you're a sexy-ass vampire livin' as a paid-assassin in a castle. Why in Hell were you working for Talon?". Um...I might need to talk to Penny about that. Here's the thing: I don't know how she makes so many mistakes on finding me a proper job. It gets to the point where it feels like she's doing it on purpose. I feel like she's purposefully putting me into all of these "Multi-Universe jobs" just to see if I would come back DEAD. I feel like no normal woman should deal with this bullshit!

But whatever. Penny's too cute for me to be mad. So, it was a nice day. I was playing me some Dead by Daylight, when Penny comes in. Telling me that I was being given an invitation. A job being made specifically for a five-man team hunting down this "Om-nic" actor. So, in my mind, I was thinking "Okay. I don't like the fact that I have to join some group when I could do it solo. I broke up my teaming with Team RWBY. I don't the PTSD". Secondly..."Why do I have to do it just to hunt down a toaster?". I mean, you gotta understand: the toasters in MY world aren't worth two shits to scrap, if you know what I mean.

I didn't even know how long this job was going to take me, really. A was a temporary-moving-in situation. Kinda like a job-vacation thing. So, I was getting ready to leave with Neo and Pyrrha giving me farewells and asking if they would bring something back.

You serious? Y-You serious, right now!? I let you live in MY castle! Drinking up MY alcohol! Eating up the food I get you! Giving you the jobs you need! Bringing in your "playmates" into my dungeons! And you're asking ME to bring you back something!? Geez. If only a Huntress would...

Anyway, I went out and traveled to this "Earth". Finally made it to this seclusive place in...areas that I can't really mention. It was a headquarters filled with very impressive tech and, look, if any of their sexy weapons end up missing...well, I don't know what to tell ya! I reached into the Talon headquarters, huge doors inviting me in.

Right into it, I get to meet this THICK ---- I mean, uhhh...oddly-impressive blue woman. Little did I know that this woman was nicknamed "Widowmaker" after she was physically and mentally-altered and driven to kill her own husband. She just the second member after "Reaper", who sounds like an intimidating person alone. So, I'm putting myself into a team filled with bloodthirsty, laboratory freaks. That is what's happening! So, I was beginning to feel concerned. 'Cuz that's not something you see everyday. Cold-blooded thots and throat-cancer edgelords going around in the sane world.

So, I walked up to these two. Saying "Hey" and that I came for the job. Then, Widowmaker comes up to me and says "Oh, really? You're here to be a member of our team? Exquisite. Hopefully, you won't have to make alterations from our good doctor, Moira. She has made us to fearsome killers you see. That is...if you and I won't have a problem, first".

...Now, I'm VERY worried! But it doesn't matter. Because I'm Ruby Rose! I cut off a Nevermore's head off before I even turned into a vampire. I'm the deadliest slasher of Remnant! I'm not afraid of this second-grade sniper! You know, she may be THICK, she may be ice-cold, and she may got snipin' skills of...uhh...doesn't matter.

I decided to go humble about it and go "Of course, not. I'm just here for a honest living".
