Originally designed as a big game defense pistol it quickly caught the attention of the AnKraean Imperial Ministry of Internal Affairs or otherwise known as the Imperial Secret Service.
No other sidearm in testing came as close to the stopping power of the 12.7x31mm cartridge the Grand Council developed for it and in honor of becoming the primary supplier of sidearms for the Secret Service the cartridge was renamed into .50 Government.

Despite being only 20% larger than the standard service model 7 pistol, its almost twice its weight and worth every gram of it.
Unlike its older brother almost every single 9E is painfully assembled and machined by hand due to the tight tolerances needed to not have the pistol explode upon firing or not cycle at all and on top of it all costs almost twice as much to buy as a civilian.

Curiously the 9E cannot be suppressed due to the heavy integrated muzzle brake at front of the pistol keeping it almost balanced combined with a tungsten weight embedded in the front of the assembly the pistol's weight can be adjusted on the fly to suit the shooter's needs. Although it is ill advised the cavity is technically large enough to fit one round of .50 Gov.
