Words just don't cut it when I saw this bunch of fursuiters at the Singapore Cosfest XII.I saw several of them the last two times I went,but I never had the courage to say "hi".This time however, was with them.
I passed him...and did a double take.My mind was screaming"Didn't you draw that recently?" This was too good to pass up,so I MANNED UP AND OFFERED SALUTATIONS!...after stalking him awkwardly from a distance for a good half an hour.
Ah,the woes of the socially awkward.XD
That being said,he was pretty awesome! He invited me to stick around and follow them.The answer was obvious...I fled,screaming...or at least my soul did when I said yes.
They were absolutely ADORABLE yet badass...a combination that they pulled off somehow.I was amazed and hyped at how people connected and welcomed them; random strangers pulling out phones and cameras for photos,kids trying to hug them...I never knew Singapore was so open.I lived here 19 years and I thought we were a bunch of overly reserved,polite people who would flee at the sight of a fursuiter in fear of impending hugs!
Sadly,I had to go without speaking with the rest of them,but it was a real eye-opener.Needless to say, it merits a picture!
