Little Merboy Moki — Description

So, I missed "Mer-May", but still wanted to draw Mokuba as a mer-boy. It was too cute of an idea to pass-up. Yes, he's still wearing his brother's locket around his neck. ^^ He was originally meant to be swimming in the sea, but it looks more like he was captured and put in an aquarium. And now he's waving to passers-by until his brother comes to rescue him.

Only used a ref for the seahorses and the moorish idol (fish in the bg). I rather like how the seahorses came out; the moorish idol not so much. Then again, it's my first attempt at drawing one since seeing 'Finding Nemo' around 12 years ago...

Mokuba was pretty much in my own style, and based off what I remembered of him. All in all, am pleased with this pic. I have a few follow-up pics planned, including one with his big bro, and one with a few female characters as mermaids.

I hope you like it. ^^
