Description I've created this little graphic to promote my first own modification for Ubisoft's (or shall I say Grin's?) Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (PC) game and since the mod includes a skin that actually shows me, I thought it would be nice to have it on the graphic! :) (Smile)

Feel free to drop me a line if you like / dislike it and also feel free to try the mod, once the public beta is out (it's currently under testing in closed beta ver. 1.41)! :) (Smile)

A few details about my mod:

Realism optimization mod (R.O.M.) Vers. 1.41 by Vth_F_Smith '06
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Realism optimization mod (R.O.M.) - for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Developer of the Game: GRIN
Modder: Chris Geissler (Vth_F_Smith)
Artwork: Chris Geissler (Vth_F_Smith)
Supported game modes: Single Player, Coop Mode

FEATURES

The features of the R.O.M. includes the following:

Gameplay changes
-------------------------
- When looking for cover now the ghost AI's top priority is safe cover (REFINED)
- When looking for cover now the ghost AI's secondary priority is a tactical advantage
- Under fire the ghost AI will immidiately move to the next best cover, watch out for the enemy and then return the fire
- Firestyle has been changed to "Defensive"
- The ghosts will keep a much shorter distance now to the player (30 feet in total)
- Reloading will now more often take place when behind cover or covered by an allied soldier instead of in the line of enemy fire
- The Abrahms inside the "Ready for bear" mission will now attempt to aim at an enemy tank while moving, instead of waiting 'til a given waypoint has been reached

Visual changes
-------------------------
The sepia post effect has been reduced to zero which results in a fully colored cross com, drone camera, buddy cam and tactical map.
In case you want to keep the sepia filter effect, have a look at the mod folder (usually you'll find him at local\mod\ ) switch to the Settings folder and delete the PostEffects.xml file.

- Allen got a new face texture (you may call him Smith now :D (Big Grin) )
- The specularity of the ghost's uniforms has been reduced to a value near zero in order to get rid of the "SciFi space suit look" specular lighting that sometimes showed up
- Various small details were added to gloves and clothing in general to make it look more realistic etc.
- ghost's are now wearing Oakley Anti - Laser goggles (green tinted)
- a semi-bump effect has been added to the ghost uniforms in order to simulate real fabric (This might be necessary to adjust in further versions as it may look too extreme)
- the ghost's helmet texture has been edited in order to represent a more realistic look
- the ghost uniform textures were corrected to get rid of the double ghost armpatch

System based changes:
-------------------------------------------
- R.O.M. is now fully compatible with the latest patch (1.16)
