Tex - Retexture V2.1 — Description
Same dragon, different scales :3

Tex got yet another retexture. The last happened in February 2023 (8 months ago)

And Boy, am I happy! got to learn so many things over this year. I just couldn't wait any longer and finally apply them to my Sona

Been a bit on Spyro burnout lately. Just couldn't get around to work on unfinished projects.

After a break, I started doing a Pose with Tex and eventually fixed a thing, and a second. Eventually I thought why not do him justice? so I went over basically everything again without doing his model from scratch

On the technical side

Mesh was changed to make him a bit thinner and more streamlined. A dragon wants to fly after all. Added scaly paw beans! :3

His shaders(materials) were fully reworked. More easier customization, less artefacts(saturation loss and texture stretching), better performance. I can finally run 30fps animations within the workspace without baking

Wings are now blue. I don't mind the orange version, but to me it looks way better with less complementary colors. The horns and glow spots stayed the same

Rig got a few more bones, especially on the snout. Fully weighted the limbs and eyes new. more expression!
