Linux is not Windows — Description

Some people think that Linux is a free version of Windows, and it is not.

Linux is different and requires different skills than Windows to use.

If you inform yourself before starting and start to know what partitions and a boot loader are, things that are also there in Windows, but keep hidden from you, you will discover that you can have a dual-boot and have both Linux and Windows, depending on what you boot.

The two operating systems run in turn, and not together.

Linux doesn't need as many resources as Windows to run well.

It is not necessary that one operating system is the same as another... even MAC is different, and you buy it for that very reason.

Linux is different from both... it's not a free MAC.
