NinjaTale - Toriel — Description
Toriel’s appearance is a bit like Kaguya’s, also I want to draw Dreemurrs like Ootsutsuki.
Toriel rescues Frisk from Flowey (I’ll draw him next), and protagonist decides that she is that sennin, who lives in Ebbot’s cave, thanks to her lonely life and some heavenly appearance. Toriel is embarrassed of this “rank”, but she agrees to train Frisk and takes her away to the Ruins.
Toriel was the first Frisk’s “sensei” and she took care of her like a real mother. Also, she was the first who noticed, that Frisk is stronger than she looks like. How “goat-mom” told: “She has a very powerful, but not released chakra… However, inside [Frisk] is more violent and destroying power, which she can’t control for the present.”
Training happens everyday both for body and for mind: in the Ruins, there is a lot of scrolls (scrolls only, there weren’t any books), ranging from jutsu scrolls to scrolls about Underground’s history and philosophy. Frisk is very happy of living there, but that doesn’t continue for a long time.
Pacifist Route: this life isn’t tiring for Frisk, but small and locked Ruins aren’t so interesting, and the girl has started to miss the sun and nature. Also Chara has started to persuade the protagonist to leave the Underground (because she needs Frisk to be caught by Asgore), and in the end Frisk is begging Toriel to help her to rise to the Surface. Understanding the child’s feelings, but wanting to protect her, Toriel makes examenation for the protagonist: if Frisk can defeat her, she allows her to left the Ruins; if Frisk can’t — girl stays there. When the protagonist, using only mercy and defence, “wins”, heart-touched goat-mom leaves her, warning, that outside the Ruins, there is one good guy who will meet her, train and protect from Asgore. But beforehand, Toriel makes a seal on Frisk to protect her from “that another power” and it couldn’t take whole and durable control.
Neutral Route with killing Toriel differes only with that Frisk doesn’t have a seal and nothing protect her from Chara’s control.
Genocide Route: except Toriel, of course, there are a lot of small monsters in the Ruins, like in canon. If protagonist decides to look for them and “practice” on them with killing them, Toriel, getting know about this, tries to stop Frisk, but girl kills her. Disbelieving that her “child” can be so violent, goat-mom, before to turn into dust, tells her, that she teaches her not for killing, but for protecting and for peacekeepping, and she hopes, that Frisk will understand this as soon as possible.
About Toriel’s skills: this article is very difficult because it’s so hard to think over about all the character’s technics. But I can say that Toriel’s chakra is of fire element and she can transform it in fire power. Also she is master of other four elements and can transform chakra in hybrid elements’ power. She is master of Yin and Yang too and very good in seals.
On top of that, Toriel’s signature dish — dorayaki with snail or butterscotch filling.
