Independence Day — Description
I came to the states when I was just a young girl,
I grew up to learn that America was a whole new world.
My father was a soldier for the U.S Army,
He was loyal, strict, and even sometimes funny.

I now live here, proud as can be,
for my country, my father helped to keep free.
He gave many sacrifices for it and for us.
And I know America is a place I can trust.

I love to celebrate these few special holidays,
the ones concerning our flag and how valiantly it waves.
I give a special thanks to those soldiers out there,
Without any of you, our freedom wouldn't be here.

This nation may not be perfect, but I am proud to call it my home.
It is a great place for all people to roam.
When I see our red, white, and blue,
I can't help but to smile proudly, and stand up, too.

It is everything I love,
everything I could possibly dream of.
My heart goes out to this country,
If I could, I would die for it X's three.

I put my faith in the U.S.A,
America will save the day.
They are the world's big brother,
Helping others to restore the order.

I admire how our soldiers volunteer to prepare to fight,
They seem to know what is right.
Other countries draft their men,
It's harder to stay at it, when you don't really want In.

This is the promise land,
from the wettest waters to the driest of sand.
I sit here, wearing my father's BDU's,
wishing I could somehow give back to this nation, too.

My life belongs here,
and for those who have died, I shed my tears.
But for now, it's a time of celebration,
To celebrate the birth of our Brave Nation.

Yes, I write poems, too. >.> And Thought, I really should write a poem for America. lol, I'm proud of this country, very proud. >.> Anyone tries to harm it, F- Them to Hell. >.> Ticks me off. S.o.b.'s. lol, anyway...yes, I'm also very proud of my dad. He served in the army for a long time, been to a war, and such...It's amazing hearing all his stories... So proud of my brave dad. hehe,

I CHEATED ON THE STARS. >.> photoshop had a star thing..and I was like O.O FREAK YES!! dun have to do down from Hawaii star, up to Alaska star manually, >.> rofl! man...
BUT YES. >.> AND I KNOOOOOWW, lmfao, I ain't stupid. I know he couldn't have possibly ever held a flag, with fifty stars. >.< but, I was thinking he would be proud of this country, too...Since...It's His and all....He should be able to hold all fifty states in his hands..>.> with the thirteen colonies. lol, So, MWAHAHA.
