Fissy - Reference 2024 — Description

She's back again! But this time- I'm really settled on this design! Her past designs were always a wild combination of colors and details with no sense of harmony or context. So this time, I took it upon myself to really contemplate her design, especially her color scheme.

I was very focused on creating a color palette that complimented her hair because I was a huge fan of that vibrant mint color. Her new design also features fin-like ears, a lunate tail fin to match it, and some patterns on her skin. In her previous designs she always had that 'fish' ear, but it felt out of place when nothing else in her character supported it. So for this new concept of hers, I complimented that ear with other fish-like designs to further emphasize her character!

I'm so proud to see how much this character has evolved, especially considering that she was my first oc. Stay tuned for more character refence updates! (It's cuz I'm participating in ArtFight)
