Somewhere between the second bottle of sake and the floor, Sakura and Karin came up with a brilliant plan.

They were both awarded medals for their cunning and innovative approach to ending the war and freeing up Naruto to fight the Juubi unhindered. Sai's hammer is now a national treasure.

Naruto still has no idea where they found those costumes.

Sasuke is still sulking about the fight.
