Good to hear! And yah, tbh, I did the same thing years back. But once you see it it's like 'Ah hah!'

Ah wow, thanks a lot! I'm really happy to hear that, and hope it helps out!
Yah, there are different schools of thought on the placement of the wings. *shrugs*. I personally think of 'em as having two sets of arms and how the different placements would impact 'em. And tbh, I used to put the wings on top of the front limbs until I had a serious 'Ah hah!' moment, hehe.

This is a fantastic basic reference guide, I have been looking for a good one that I could easily understand without having to root through too many other guides to get an understanding of the subject I am after. Thank you for this!

Thanks! I've been drawing since I could hold a pen. Been doing digital art for about five years now. Just takes a ton of work, work, and more work!

So, how would you draw a dragon with a straight neck instead of curving upward?
π: 0 β©: 1
TwilightSaint In reply to BenDragon1337 [2014-05-02 22:28:37 +0000 UTC]
You would just draw the muscles straighter and more stretched out.

This is astonishingly helpful! I think I may finally be able to draw dragons!!!!!!!!! What's kept me from it is just not knowing how to or where to even start because I know almost nothing about anatomy.
So just for this, you are now my #1 favorite artist!
(Sorry Narse! XD)
