So what's going on here? No idea. I just played around with cloth simulation, trying to get the cape to do what I wanted, and suddenly I was looking at this. Since I didn't plan it, there's not really anything going on in the scene, so I went with the cheesy vaguely-threatening-off-camera-voice. You will have to do the rest.

It's a great pose - exaggerating her total weakness from the Kryptonite ordeal she has just undergone, we can see she has absolutely no strength left - and serves beautifully as a potential interstitial panel between two separate Kryptonite attacks.Β The 'cheesy vaguely-threatening-off-camera-voice' might have been an afterthought but it serves as a great connector in a long - hopefully a very very long 
Which really didn't happen too often in the comics; most of the time there'd only be a single trap, hero escapes, end of story.Β This would normally be a panel from after another hero has rescued her, removing the Kryptonite.Β But this time we know that's not the case ...

Oh, yeah! I think it was only for a few issue, but those were cool. I tried to use them in an image, but could never find any that were close enough not to annoy me. I actually think the "barefoot image" I posted a while back was from a session where I tried them out.

So much to like about this image, from the overall laying pose,
to the very 50s Hollywood starlet hair to, yes, the fabric of the
blouse especially how it is pulled up at the stomach, and the
folds and valleys of the puffy sleeves. Indeed, all of the clothing
items seem to lay just perfectly against Supergirl.
The ONLY complaint that I have is... ummm... where's the KRYPTONITE?!?

Where's the Kryptonite?Β The 'cheesy vaguely-threatening-off-camera-voice' explains ... he's removed it so she will recover her strength ... only to subject her to yet another Kryptonite trap before she can escape!
Sometimes the best Kryptonite is the threat of 'what comes next'!
