Gethsemane — Description

An offering:
I’ve spent a ridiculous chunk of my life feeling loudly misunderstood. All heart, all storms, but somehow the weather never makes sense to the people around me. Gethsemane wrestles with that whiplash between tenderness and devastation. It reminds me that pain can be both a weight and a set of wings, you choose which one in the long run.

That final build is transcendence. For me, that’s the switch from victim to architect, owning the hurt, weaponizing it into growth.
Creating this was equal parts therapy session and battle cry. While the main character here is less decorated as Vessel might be, it represented for me a 'Vessel' who is also anyone who has been hurt. If you’ve ever been stuck in that push-pull purgatory, I hope this lets you breathe for a minute.
