Black Ranger Samurai — Description

## ⚔️ PR OC: Black Samurai Ranger (Mentor Ji) ⚔️
Inspired by a classic theory from the Brazilian YouTube channel Lunyan, I decided to draw what it would look like if Mentor Ji had been a Power Ranger in the past during the events of Power Rangers Samurai. Since this never happened in the official show, I created this concept to imagine his look and secret lore!
## 📜 Backstory & Origin
Years before training Jayden's team, Ji fought on the front lines alongside the former head of the Shiba Clan (Jayden's father). He wasn't just an instructor; he was the original Black Samurai Ranger, a warrior who operated from the shadows to intercept Nighloks before they could reach the surface.
To keep the core team safe and ensure everyone's focus remained on the Sealing Symbol, the existence of the Black Ranger was wiped from official historical records. After the previous team fell, Ji sealed his morpher away and took on the sole mantle of "Mentor," using his deep tactical knowledge to guide the new generation.
## 🈲 Symbol & Element
* Element: Shadow / Balance.
* Visor Kanji: 平 (Hei), representing "Balance" and "Peace"—the precise force needed to neutralize chaos without the public ever knowing of the threat.
* Accent Color: Dark purple/violet energy trails.
## ⚡ Powers & Abilities
* Hidden Fighting Style: Unlike the other Rangers who use loud, flashy, and imposing sword techniques, the Black Ranger utilizes the Shadow Step, moving at blinding speeds to strike from blind spots.
* Shadow Spin Sword: When spinning his Black Power Disc, his blade becomes coated in a deep purple aura capable of slashing through Nighlok illusions.
* Power Symbol (Bind): Ji can draw his kanji in the air to summon shadow chains that bind and immobilize monsters, allowing the main team to land the final strike.
