Once Irene's Path — Description
Vermont is home to many covered bridges. And one of the longest operational covered bridges in the United States. This particular bridge was nearly taken out due the passing of Hurricane Irene last year (2011). Located Northeast of Woodstock, Vermont. Revised Information: Taftsville Bridge built in 1836. But forced closed in 2011 due to hurricane Irene.
