Description
An alternate version of Two Reflections . Thanks to baroquedoll , who gave me the idea of this modification. I really like the result, even if up close one can see a "break" between the two photos. These are still the same two pictures of reflections, this time without a frame that separates them. The first picture is upside-down, and I took the second one after throwing a pebble in the water.
.......

Ok, so I'll give you a critique. 🌹
The version with the frame looked like a postcard or those birthday cards that open... please don't mind, I'm speeking freely, otherwise I can't give a critique!
I don't like frames in general, if I use them it's only in black and as movies frames (two horizontal stripes) to make the image look wider or give it a vintage touch.
In the case of "Two reflections" the frame was not needed at all! It looked artificial and took away all the magic aura of the photo.
It broke the vision of the eye. The eye went first in middle, between the two images, and then to the white frame. Only for 3rd thing it went to the content of the photo!
(I studied a lot of perspective and where the eye goes first is real, like maths, not an opinon 🙂) that's why I took the freedom of telling you!
The new version is much better, fantastic! 💜 ⚘ 💜
It looks like a real dream, other-wordly but conceivable, like I'm in front of a vision, so you can transport the observer right there... It is a stronger image, now.
Thank you for trusting me! 💖
I didn't expect you would try the change I suggested, as most people want to hear only that their work is perfect and get offended if you express an opinion, so I don't even comment. 😱
While I think that sharing suggestions can be a very good of learning, for everybody. 💛
Thank you for crediting me! ⚘

Thank you for your comment!
I'm usually not fond of critiques, because I have no self confidence, and I already see so many things that are wrong in my pictures. In this case it's different: I remember that I had hesitate when I posted "Two reflections".
My first choice was actually this single picture with no frame, but my problem was that the two pictures are not completly symmetrical. I had to crop them both! I know how to merge the borders of two photos but I didn't want to edit them too much. That's why I decided to keep the two images and separated them with a frame.
I know that the eye goes first to the middle of the picture, and I also I'm not very found of collages of two pictures with a frame. I didn't really think about the concept when I did it, however, I think that "Two reflections" has something interesting. I feel that the eye focus on one of the picture, then goes to the other, again and again... and the mind can't choose which one is real because none of them is real.
This thing said, I agree that watching "Two reflections" leave an unpleasant feeling, because of its lack of unity... On the other hand, "Endless reflections" can be seen as one unique picture, with only hints that makes one understand that it's not just a landscape and its reflection. In the end, I prefer this second version. There's also an unexpected kind of fisheye lens effect that I like too.
Sorry for this long comment, I'm usually not very talkative...
