... taken during ice storm 2009. A tribute to a dearly love pet and very missed kitty cat .... Cali.*Edit: 09/05/09
Although Cali wasn't my kitty (she belonged to ~Slothgal ), I really miss her.
This little figure is by a goldfish pond. I had recently lost my beloved China cat [link] and couldn't help thinking of her when I saw it. I was a bit emotional when I noticed it covered in ice, so sad, so at peace as well ... I should have written that in the comments, but I was too lost in grief at the time, I wasn't thinking.
I'm so very sorry for any misunderstandings and thanks for being very kind in your wonderful comments.

Aww, that is understandable and I might have done the same thing ... not everyone has time to read all of the comments. I do that sometimes, lol.
I put an edit in the artist's comment section, hopefully that will help the picture match the comments ... it really was very hard to think when I looked at this picture, China was my guardian angel and watched after my every step for so very long it's still difficult to believe she is gone. It can be so hard for some people to understand how much it changes your life to lose a beloved little creature who has been there for you ... always cheerful and adoring, never complaining ... Miss China is dearly missed.

Yes, you miss her and many people don't understand the loss of a lovable and a faithful companion who was there for you, as you say.
It is the same thing for me, my cat was only 9 years old and, although I have other adorable cats, he was very special for me. I miss him. Thank you for caring! We understand each other about that.
