Parenthood Movie TIGERM.NET — Description
The Quest Begins...

I saw the tail-end of this movie several years ago on Starz when I first moved out
[Well was kicked out ] of home and moved to 3110 Graystone Lane in Albany, GA.

The portion where the father was speaking to his son and offering to pay off some gangsters who were after him for their money ‘cause he had borrowed from them to feed his gambling addiction—and couldn’t pay them back
(as well as the ‘Teacher singing to Teacher at Elementary School classic ^_^).

Also, several of the other toils and joys of Parenthood [I’d imagine. ^_^] were depicted—which kept this movie in my mind for the longest time. However—it being a 1989 film… Video Warehouse nor Blockbuster carried it—and so the search for this excellent film ended in vain.

Now—some 2 to 3 years later—thanks to modern technology—I was able to
stream the .avi—and finally complete a movie I had long desired to see.

Review – With realistic-comedy [i.e. things that happen all the time in Our Current World], realistic characters and an awesome ‘Time Transition’ (right after the game of baseball—dad looks up—and it’s graduation! ^_^)—
indeed I can see why this 1989 movie was a grand-smash hit!

With intriguing lines and sentimental moments laced throughout—this is a great ‘Adult Family’ movie—without the Porn (Well kinda’ XDD I still don’t know about the ‘pedophile-pleasing’ cowboy strap and hat. XDD Nonetheless, an extremely comical—and truly unforgettable scene—in film history [especially for the majority of us who don’t feel an impulse to join the NAMBLA! XDD).

The difficulties and joys of raising a family are well depicted in this film. ^_^

I’m proud that destiny should direct me back to this heartwarming ‘Portrait of Humanity.’ A welcome and warm film to view—especially after the colder-version of such a film just yesterday [well earlier this evening. I’m referring to Mr. Brooks]. Indeed, Parenthood is a very strong and charming film.

The ‘Oral Motor Vehicle fender-bender’ was hilarious to me.

P.S. The Rollercoaster of Life’ vs. the ‘Merry-Go-Round’ parallel was indeed awesome. The follow-up scene that depicted the parallel (in almost tangible form due to the excellently added sound! ) indeed is a ‘center-piece in cinematic history’ [in my most humble opinion. Although my personal allegory of life is ‘Life is a Storybook’ or ‘Life is a Video Game—a Storybook Program;’ indeed I must say in this parallel I am not one for neither [the Rollercoaster nor the Merry-Go-Round]…

but BOTH are fun to ride at times. ^~*
