The finished product to my last WIP picture.A Mirialan from Star Wars, for a Star Wars- The Old Republic community project by a fellow player.
Had some issues with shadows that were a bit offset, but i think in the end everything worked quite well.
Some minor postwork and correction of clipping issues in Photoshop.

This is a very well done render. The mirialan looks very original from any known mirialans without looking too far exotic. The tattoos are subtle but beautifully designed and placed. I'd like to see some more contrast in the lighting, but I'm assuming you were going for a more 'photoshoot' sort of lighting in which case you aced it. Everything about her looks very authentic to being mirialan without looking clichΓ© and the pose is very tasteful. The jewelry is chosen very well. They aren't gaudy and enhance the visual rather than serving as a distraction.
So many 3D artists make raunchy and perverted art with poor lighting and awful poses. It pleases me greatly to see someone creating 3D art that is tasteful artistic nudity with a lot of effort put into it. This was a breath of fresh air to see. fav.me/d2crm3sΒ has some awesome tips on lighting. I've also found that photography is a good focus of study for learning how to properly light a scene.

You're right about the lighting, it is a rather standard photoshoot setup, but since lighting is one of the things i still struggle with most i just stuck to what i knew would work, since it was supposed to be kind of a PinUp-/Centerfold style picture for a friends project anyway (without showing any explicit nudity) Β
