The White Wraith — Description

Captain Roger Earle (1985-2045) of the Free States Air Force aka the White Wraith. When Operation Emancipation launched Roger was performing a live fire weapons tests on the FA-48 Wraith. In all the test Wraith was painted in a white paint that would allow it to tracked for testing and be spotted more easily in case of a crash. With a weapons load out for air to air warfare and a swarm of enemy aircraft, Roger chose to engage and began taking out aircraft loaded with troops and bombs destined for Houston. Roger only had 16 out of 18 air to air missiles and a 1000 rounds for his 30mm cannon but still chose to engage. Several F35 pilots would go on to see this fighter charge at their formation with guns blazing shocked their stealth systems were not protecting them. In all the missile were used to shoot down 16 C-5M Galaxy transport planes. From there he would coordinate with the air national guard pilots and ground forces of the Free States to hold the line against AOC's attacking forces.

In all by the end of the battle for Houston Roger Earle would go on to down 164 aircraft that day with only his gun. Over half of the kills would be fighter jets. The name White Wraith would not come to Roger for several days as until it was made clear to the left that the FA-48 was called the Wraith. USAF survivors had simply called Roger a devil. Among other acts of gas lighting and after several rants about white people did the white wraith nickname stick. In fact for several months of the war Roger's nick name was Angel of Houston. In all the name White wraith was far more intimidating which is why it stuck. In all Roger would eventually go on to shoot down a total of 197 fighter jets out of his 391 aircraft kills using the FA-48. The white wraith would be seen as an ominous threat as the craft appeared at several key battles such as Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix.

However the white paint job of the prototype Wraith would be consigned to press conferences, airshows, and eventually The National Museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the threat of the FA-48 would go onto to plauge the NewMerican forces loyal to AOC. While only a total of 150 FA-48 Wraiths were combat ready in the year 2030 the numbers grew and soon enough F-35 pilots would dread taking to the sky for fear of the White Wraith. Art by StupolevBear
