Description
Download for full view. Our character design professor Ray Goto taught us this method so I thought it'd only be fair to pass it along. It makes life easier, doesn't it? LoL It was an eye opener. But again, this doesn't work with foreshortening, and in my opinion most poses are pretty stiff without foreshortening, however this'll definitely give you a step in the right direction! Thanks!
Please comment if you fave, so I know if this tutorial is usefull or not. I'm usually not a stickler about comment-fave ratio, except when it comes to my tuts. That way I know what to do for the next one! Thanks!

I like how this tutorial is easy-reading and simple. There are way too many out there where they are useless because they're too wordy to understand.

Thanks! Yeah I feel like you have very little space to explain just what needs to be said. I hate wordy tutorials too XD I tend to just ignore them

XD I know right?? And even still, I NEVER use this method! XD Cuz I always foreshorten my arms in one form or another. Or I just eyeball it XDD But the concept is still great to know

Thanks very much! You'll find that just understanding the concept will help you eyeball proportions better. I generally never use this method, however it does help conceptually. I generally foreshorten all my arms in some form or another, in which this method doesn't work at all XD
