Description
PHEW This took all day but I finally figured I'd throw up a tutorial on creating your very own style. I'm not claiming that I'm a master of the world's most unique style or anything, but I figured I'd offer my take on how you CAN create a unique style.Credits:

This has to be one of the most useful tutorials I have seen in a long time.
Too many works here on DA are very derivative from specific styles.
To you:

I was linked to this tutorial by another artist just was I was pondering over my own style and how to make it seem fresh and all. And I was mildly confused about how my art teacher went about trying to encourage my art by forcing to drop something else; but your tutorial enlightened me a bit- made me understand the importance of referencing from real life. I would have never have considered this before, but looking at this now- it's become so completely obvious! Still, not so obvious as to be completely recognizable on first sight. I guess that's the beauty of creating your own style and such
Thanks for writing this up- I would definitely love to try doing more of this!

This has to be one of the coolest tutorials I have ever seen, you explain style without saying this is the only way it can be done, and that is awesome! I am very impressed especially that you decided to tackle such a hard idea as this as style is a very hard topic to try and give any sort of a solid answer to. Bravo!

Very helpful tutorial! I think it was a really great point you made that unique style is developed through our own interpretation of reality.

Very nice tutorial. I appreciate the time, and effort put into this, it's very inspiring.
I especially notice the research you did (don't know if it's general knowledge for you but even so) to incorporate with your words of wisdom. It gives a genuine feel to it.
Thanks for creating and sharing!

I didn't know there was a mathematical formula for style! That means style can be computed. There should be a style calculator on Wolfram|Alpha.
