Notes on Understructure — Description
If there's one lesson I can't stress enough, it's learning proper understructure. If you can master 4 basic forms, you can draw anything. Without proper foundation, you are only learning how to copy contours, which results in amorphous anatomy, stiff poses, lack of volume, and the frustration with being able to draw something without photo reference.
