Ashtaroth was usually depicted as an ugly demon. He was the Treasurer of Hell, and was also the Grand Duke of its western regions. He encouraged sloth and idleness.Taken from some book of demonology...
please dont think that im a satanist. i just know that if theres light, good, white, then theres dark, evil, black!

I think the blur helps, it sits the wp in the background. In turn helps you get on with what you're doing before you get sucked in....., perhaps not, it's too good

ooh, I'm all backwards -- saw this one after I viewed LILITH.
Well, I will certainly say 3 things:
1. They loan themselves excellently to one another.
2. Your consistency is admirable.
3. I love this one too!
(sneaks in 4...)
4. I will call it a shield as I don't quite know what to make of it but, I absolutely love the twist in its outer rim (deja-vu, loved the outer rim or LILITH also, like I said, consistent).

Nothing wrong with knowing your demons I have a rather large book of demonology. And IM not a satanist...heheh...i promise. Good/beautiful job though. Colors are wonderful.

Yeah, I see a lot of Giger type textures in this piece, and the colors emanate the same vibe. Not that that's a bad thing, in that it's a very cool style, and you've pulled it off well. Nice use of the circle as the central point, as the eye is lead around it, and to the various other parts adjoined to it.
I have to admit, it's funny to me that the treasurer of Hell encouraged sloth and idleness. How ya gonna make money bein' all lazy lidat!? Though it sounds like Lucifer wisend up, in that Astaroth was the treasurer... heh heh... though how did they know this Astaroth was the treasurer? Does Hell send out a yearly pamphlet with it's board of directors or something?

This is a wicked piece thief6! I love those horizontal lines which lend a misty look to the whole picture, and the colours blend to show the different shades of darkness. Question; what's the circly thing?
