Beautiful work, and so sorry to hear about your Dad... today would have been my Mother's Birthday... but she passed away last year. I hope with the passage of time it gets easier, and we don't miss our respective loving parents to the point it still causes physical pain.
But a big part of me is not ready to let go comletely... and doesn't want to be okay with the fact she is no longer here... except for in my heart... especially today. Your post really moved me.

I don't think I'll ever let go of him - the fact that he passed away from a type of cancer where nothing could be done both upsets and enrages me...
I try to deal with that everyday...and move forward, but I find it very difficult, even a year later...
I hope we can both move on, and live our lives the way they would have wanted us to...happy!
By the way, I didn't realise you were on devart bro - I'll keep my eye on you...
