Speed Racer The Next Generation - Captain Terror — Description
In the original series. Captain Terror was the leader of the car acrobatic team. A group of rivals that competed against Speed Racer Sr. in the alpine race. They lost to Speed however, and Captain Terror swore his revenge. They met up again later in the trick race, however, it was a false racer to lure out Racer X to kill him by a group of unknown criminals. Captain Terror was the only other person in the show that knew Racer X’s identity.
This would not be the end of Captain Terror’s rivalry with Speed Racer however, Terror attempted to destroy Speed in a race to gain information on the secret gasless engine and the Mach 6. He was stopped however, by Speed’s friend Damien. Which caused Terror to go into hiding.

Years later, Captain Terror retired from racing and began to focus on his oil business. He then raised a daughter named Annalise. Terror then went by his real name Zile Zazic. (Which was hinted in the original series because Captain Terror wore a Z on his chest.) As the main villain of Speed Racer: the Next Generation, he seeks to destroy anything that stands in the way of his money and companies. Even if that involves crushing the racers.
