So far only errors I found is a spelling error and a grammar one.

in step 3, deselect is missing an e.
in step 7, youever should be you ever.

also, was wondering, can't you remove doubles when importing the mesh, that's usually what I do, coz I get a message that pops up asking if I want to remove doubles when I import a mesh.

Yes, you can! I put that step, but in this case, the model had separate parts, so I had them together, then do it.
