Meet The Ultimate Lifeform! A being created from a pile of what has been dubbed E.D.E.N. and is said to be the God of many...
Allow me to explain, when the first case of E.D.E.N. was reported in the ocean floor by some underwater photographers, a corporation named Novacorp was sent in to contain as much of this weird fleshy substance as possible, deaming it an anomaly. The samples they had brought back were put in heavy containment, as little was known about it and they could be seen as dangerous. Now, Novacorp was in charge of containing and if allowed, exploiting anomalies, meaning they had seen many weird things, but this was something else. The now dubbed E.D.E.N. was transported and placed in a containment room, it seemed to grow and create it's own miniscule environment, managing to create more of itself.
One day, a group of people in hazmats were sent in to see if they could sample any of the newly formed E.D.E.N. but that is when catastrophe struck. The E.D.E.N. began to grow like mad, and seemed hostile towards the hazmats, as they were grabbed by protruding arms, and then brutally budgeted to death, or assimilated into the original. Eventually the E.D.E.N began to spread all over the entire room, and began to break through the viewing glass. Eventually, the E.D.E.N. grew site wide, almost no one was spared from it, many of the staff and all the other anomalies were killed and assimilated, but the unfortunate staff who didn't, suffered a fate worse, as they were shaped and turned into monstrosities:

Eventually there were no more staff or anomalies, just monsters and flesh. Over time, the E.D.E.N. began to evolve, and begin creating it's own organisms,,that would serve as prey and as security. There were many varieties of these E.D.E.N. spawn, one of them was a starfish esque creature that hung to ceilings, another was a four legged giant with an eye that was able to kill many simply by looking at it. Eventually, it created a single being, the ultimate lifeform, it was the closest thing to a normal human that it made, only with a few errors. Other than that, it was perfect, it was able to perform basic tasks, it was able to speak via a person's thoughts, or using a screen. Soon, it would learn, it would learn that it was the more powerful being in this ghost facility, it was the perfect creation, it was better than all these beasts, it, was, GOD! And soon, most of the creatures began to see it that way...
