Io is so last season, check out Enceladus and it's thick fresh snow and hidden subterranean ocean.

And I am not trying to go really realistic. In space things are extremely far away from each others and blandly colored to our regular vision. I want to me more dramatic, cinematic and exciting images, where distances are maybe not correct, light sources might be unrealistic and colors have way more vibrancy. Similar to style of comics set in space and pulp scifi art that spoke to me when I was a child and got me excited about science fiction and space. Generalizing, with space art I am going to bend the rules and it's not for everyone, just like you had your reservations.

But along with visualizing what I imagine in my mind, I want to get the viewer to get excited about space and study it further; To get carried away using science fiction in to the real facts behind the visuals. I believe this is a noble goal, like some form of science fiction might have paved the way you got into studying astronomy...
