Description
I wanted to color/finish the Galactus piece I did back in 09. It's been a pretty well received image of late, and in thinking about how I would handle it, I realized I've never created a solo Silver Surfer piece, so that coupled with calling for the Surfer to be the subject of their weekly sketch helped inspire this. Hope you dig it=]I really hope Marvel brings him back into the comics....

Really awesome work on both the inked line and this color version of SS! Interesting take on the surf board, also I think Marvel will bring him back when and if there is crisis that will affect the "Universe". Although they already have affected the "Universe" in many other ways, but you know how that goes! Anyway excellent work!

Thanks so much for the compliments! I don't have a clue how they will ever really bring him into the fold again but there are several options thankfully. Having him partake in the new Infinite storyline would work, anything with the Guardians of the Galaxy as well, and I definitely enjoyed buying his solo book when i was a teenager. There's so much with philosophy, moral dilemmas and potential love interests that can be touched on.

Your welcome! Well with so many changes that Marvel have done, who knows how would they bring him back. The only way would be that the whole Universe is in some sort of danger or that there would be some interstellar type of "arc" that will have some sort of use for the SS. Beyond that, I think that Marvel will just keep him "iced" until then!
