.....Kamen Rider Vs. Spider-man..... — Description
Each commission I do teaches me more and more about my craft and I am so happy to be blessed with these opportunities....

With that said, this is a illustration of a Japanese character called Kamen Rider (the first) vs. Spider-Man. I try and create my battle scenes where not one character has an advantage over another, keeping the fight equal and intense, with no clear victor. That is why I have these figures so close. At a distance Spider-man would have the advantage since it seems Kamen Rider is a close range fighter. What Spidey has on his side is also his speed and flexibility so that would help him counter Kamen's fighting ability.

I tried mixing my old style of coloring with the new style of coloring. Cell shading is SO much easier. This is basically done with brush work and selecting BIG parts, like an entire leg, rather than selecting this muscle, then that fold, and this that and the third.... don't know if I will revisit this for comic stuff, I think it's more suited for the fine arts style of work I've done as a youth.
