now THIS is a cool tutorial. 1 question: how do i put the materials on so that they won't be randomly placed on the render? each time i've tried only certain parts were covered with the material while others wern't.

I can't find subdivide under the structure thingy either. I have the 9.012 bundle. I haven't completed a c4d tut either bu5k3m, don't feel bad.

Wow dude great tutorial. Once I open C4D again I will give it a whirl and see if I can't edit the settings and what not and come out with a good render to use for my next piece.
