The Pumpkin Rapper's power upgrade — Description

The Pumpkin Rapper is an iconic and funny monster from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as he was part of the first PR Halloween special and the idea of a rapping pumpkin as a villain is very silly to the point it is hard not to forget seeing such a thing, especially when he had some interesting powers and abilities.

Power Rangers has had a crossover with DC Comics, and while no iconic monsters from PR was used in it, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine a sequel having iconic PR monsters having a role in it. If it did/ever does (at least in real life as I see a sequel happening in the Commentverse) I could see Rita, Zedd (the crossover had Zedd be the villains) and/or both using the various sources/content from DC Comics to make their monsters extra power. In this case having the Pumpkin Rapper have a connection to The Green.

Being a plant, I could see The Green giving Pumpkin Rapper a stronger connection to plants, allowing him to control more things than just pumpkins and vines. I also could see him getting a healing factor tht makes it harder for the Rangers to destroy, even if they use the regular Power Blaster on him, as maybe if just one pumpkin seed survives he will quickly grow back.

Rita and Zedd’s monsters were (for most of their run) made of a magical clay used by Finister and then given life, so I wonder if this could also allow the Pumpkin Rapper to connect to The Melt (AKA the source of geokinesis powers) as well. Combining that with The Green could lead to a lot of powerful attacks and abilities, and would explain how he is able to deploy Putties of his own.

Don’t you think this would be an intriguing upgrade?
