OG digimon can armor digivolve in Commentverse — Description

In Digimon Adventures 2 we were not only introduced to a few new characters going on their own adventures in the digital world, but the show had several new methods of Digimon digivolving. One was armor digivolving where Digimon will gain armor like forms based on what “Digi-eggs” that was compatible with said Digimon.

While the new group of Digidestined was shorter then in the first show (2 of them was just a more older TK and Kari) they were still the main stars BUT the OG characters and their Digimon would appear once in a while, and in the Commentverse they do play a bigger role. This means that they to obtain the power to have their Digimon armor digivolve, also maybe a few Digimon fusions as I like to call it, but main armor digivolving.

I think this a fun idea as not only does this allow the OG Digimon to gain new forms, but it can lead to a lot of fun forms as I also can see Digi eggs being used on a Digimon’s champion form.

For example I can see a Digi-Egg changing Greymon so that instead of getting WarGreymon’s minor cyborg like appearance, he bascially transforms into a Dinobot. I recall a Digimon that is basically a robot dino with all guns, so maybe Greymon can turn into that.
Another idea is a a armor digivultion for Gabumon were he gains a form that is basically a bipedal MetalGarurumon.
