I was playing RE4R and my game glitched after Ashley was snatched by an enemy in the castle courtyard hedge maze. The zealot tried to run off with her and kind of..slingshotted right into the hedge and got stuck in it. I shot him dead, but Ashley was still stuck in the air in her being-carried-off animation. I was able to push her around the area by bumping into her, but she was still stuck. Naturally, I had to enter screenshot mode and mess around
Side note, this glitch also completely despawned every enemy in the area, so I was able to mosey on through the area and pull all the levers to open the gate without any interference and without having to guard or guide Ashley - she just spawned behind me once I got to the next area. If the same glitch could be replicated, it might be useful for speedrunning? Or maybe it's already been discovered and exploited, Idk ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
