To Train a Ninja... — Description
Ninjas. Not really used enough in fiction, let alone TG caps. I have sought to fix this grevious error. I'd love to do more ninja stuff, whether or not it involves our plucky little Akiko. As always, I do not take credit or ownership of the picture. I had maybe a little too much fun with this cap, and I'm sorry to say it's not a request. But you know what that means!

What is the origin of the classical all-black ninja garb? Please be specific?
The always knowledgeable Got the answer, I'll just restate it as he put it thoroughly and succinctly.

The classic black ninja outfit comes from the all-black uniforms worn by stage hands in Japanese theater, also known as kuroko.
Since the audience was basically "trained" to ignore the kuroko anytime they came on stage to adjust something, writers would have ninja characters wear kuroko uniforms up until it was time for them to reveal themselves, creating a sense of the ninja coming from nowhere.
