TF - Amanda (TG) — Description

Here's my part for @NoaBird 's Remake Sequence Trades event! For those of you out of the loop, this event worked as a sort of Secret Santa, where each participant would be assigned another person, and would have to choose one of their transformation works (preferably a sequence) to remake.
I was sorted with my good friend @QualianCourt , and out of the works she submitted for the event, I decided to go with one of the classics - none other than the fourth entry of her Isaac setting (also known by the name Tandaron), when the title protagonist turns into the story's title character, Amanda. It's a classic story, Amanda is definitely one of the fan-favorites of the "girlsaacs" and one that feels like her own character even moreso than others, and I got the honor of rendering Isaac's transformation into her into visual media!
I tried to be as close to the original written story in terms of changes progression and pacing as possible, but there's only so much you can do without bloating the sequence too much (7 stages feels like a good number), so it might feel a bit jumpy from one stage to the other (leading to questions such as "Why is she holding a tiny square in the fifth stage and then a wrap in the sixth? Did it transform into food, like how the other items transformed into other stuff?"). To prevent some confusion from arising, and in order to fit the horizontally demanding tennis racket in each stage, I decided to make it into a comic instead of merely a sequence, with distinct panels representing specific moments in time during the TF. I think it works even better at portraying the change than if I had done everything in a single panel like a regular Kisekae sequence. Of course, if I was going to turn it into a comic I had to work on the background too... it ended up feeling close to what QC did for her own Kisekae sequence render of one of Isaac's latest chapters (link to the sequence in the bottom). Which was also one of my goals lol.
Technically speaking this wasn't particularly challenging to do in KKL, but it had a few tricky parts. Some insights that I should share:
the breasts are all custom-made so that the red lines could go underneath them;
the racket's wires don't stay in place if you tilt the hand they're attached to, so I couldn't do a lot with that arm (admittedly it did curb posing a bit, so I tried to make the models a bit more expressive in other ways);
I wasn't sure how to do the strand-by-strand hair color change as described in the original, but I tried doing something that sort of kept that same idea without it being too over-komplikae-ted;
no Michael or Ivy! I was really crunched for time (when aren't I) so the sequence only features Isaac/Amanda, with his/her buddies being offscreen;
also, even though you can't really see it that well, she has a tooth cap in the last panel! Maybe in the future I'll upload a picture of her where you can see it more clearly
This is the third piece of fanart I do for QC that I post here on DA, along with a previous sequence with a fanmade girlsaac and a holiday-themed comic earlier this year, and while it turned out to be Isaac-themed once again, I strongly encourage you to check out her other works as well, such as Relative Selves/Rinnijva, another really cool setting with several unique and unforgettable characters. Maybe one day I'll do some artwork of them and post it here...
EDIT: As a complement to this sequence, I decided to also recreate Amanda's two other looks from the stories (so far): the cute polo shirt/knee-lenght skirt combo she wears after changing from the sports dress in her first appearance, and her swimsuit from Fishing For Compliments before a jellyfish sting puts her on timeout and transforms her into... spoilers 😏 you can see them here!
