Here you go, finally the new page! Sorry for taking so long!
I just want to warn those of you who expect a detailed and nsfw sex scene - it won't be that. I don't want to lead you on, so I'm being honest here. The reason is fairly simple - I do not enjoy drawing porn. I certainly enjoy reading it, but every time I try to draw a penis I cringe and shy away. Sorry about that. I tried it and thought long about drawing something explicit for this scene, but it's just not my thing. I hope you'll still like what I've come up with for the next pages and understand and respect my choice to keep this manga more on the shônen ai side of yaoi.
Thank you.

Wonderful expressions of the two, so much awe and admiration in the god's demeanor, the irony. Also Metz seems to be simply overwhelmed, and these reactions make the whole situation seem so genuine, just two persons discovering together, for the first time, the beginnings of what might be love. This page got me a little emotional. Not to mention the fact that your art was good even before, but it just gets better and better. Metz is gorgeous, Mic is breathtaking, and the environment is wonderfully done and balanced in details and tonal values.

As for this first romantic and sexual encounter of these two...I passed the age when seeing even just the sexual act got me all hot'n bothered. Now I much more appreciate a slow, romantic build-up, with or without seeing actual sex, much less seeing the genital organs in full play, appreciating subtlety and tastefulnes more. But frankly speaking everything I said shouldn't matter at all for you, as long as you're doing what you want and love that's all that matters. You as the creator and your art are all that matters, not what anyone else thinks. So thank you for sharing this amazing, lovely story and characters with us

Thank you very much, that's kind of you. I got a lot of lewd comments on the last pages, giving me the feeling that what the readers are waiting for is, well, explicit sex - so I felt the need to clear that up beforehand, to not disappoint anyone. I will always do what I want in regards to my comic, but I wanted to minimize the possible fallout once it's clear that there will be no porn here. The amount of people who suddenly were able to comment just to complain when I forgot to properly upload the last page on smackjeeves and they couldn't see it... let's say I was a bit worried about people's reactions, so I wanted to be clear on this beforehand. I have however received only positive feedback on the matter so far, which makes me very happy. The readers who were here only for the sex, well. I won't miss them.

I think you did a great job addressing people's expectations, and not because you needed to - like we both agree, it's you and your friend's work-, but because you're a good, thoughtful person and, also, to avoid internet drama, which no sane person should ever need or want. And I know what you mean about people overreacting, I mean I'm ashamed to say I also found myself at times feeling a little frustrated and angry over an author not uploading, or a manga becoming licensed, and I'm stupefied by just how quickly some people invest feelings into another person's creation and automatically believe they have the right to force the author into doing what they want. But now I know better, and I'm glad other people do too and you got only positive feedback on this so far, that's really awesome coming from people, kudos you guys.

As for my own preferences in maleXmale works of fiction I can describe myself as being curious and versatile, but also very romantic. I've read a lot, and still do when I have time, of fanfiction, manga and comics which are softcore, but also hardcore stuff not many would appreciate. So I can read and appreciate a lot of different stuff from a sexual fantasy point of view, and I can talk pretty lewd myself, though I like to keep it tasteful and suggestive instead of downright crass. But personally I much more relate to, and deeply like, a more romantic approach, with or without visible sex. So that's why I pretty much enjoy anything as long as it's fantasy, but since personally I'm more of a romantic that shows in my top favorite fantasy works also. Probably this also came with age, back when I discovered yaoi I was into steamy, detailed mXm sex all the time

P.S: I really hope one day soon I'll get better and draw Mic and Metz together - and tastefully, not porny - for you, or at the very least the paragon of sublimeness that is Mic I mean that body, and especially those eyes and hair....

Ooh I'd love to see some fanart of Metz and Mic, or just Mic, I don't care, it's awesome to see other people like my characters enough to draw them theirselfes! But no pressure, I just meant to say I'd be very happy if you did draw them. ^^

The times where I read a lot of steamy yaoi manga are long over and I only do so rarely now. I prefer fanfiction with a good story and solid characterization to simple porn without plot, but I appreciate the porn if it is added to a good story. It is rare to find a writer who can make me feel a tingle while reading, and that is mostly achieved before the porn even starts - feelings and emotional turmoil are what I read for, and I guess I try to do exactly that with my story. After all, I try to create a comic I myself would like to read. ^^

No worries Tashina, I didn't think for a second that you'd pressure me into drawing anything, though frankly speaking I'd really need someone pushing me to draw daily. As I was saying I have motivation issues Oh well, no use complaining, trying my best to overcome this.

That's almost the exact same situation in my case as well. I still have occasional periods when I want to read PWP, but they're cut very short by my rapid boredom of not seeing any plot whatsoever. Though like you I wholeheartedly appreciate porn when it's added to a good plot. Unfortunately yes, there aren't that many great yaoi manga and fanfiction out there, at least not as many compared to the lousy and just decent ones. But fortunately there are more than I have time for anyway, and when I don't find anything worthy I either go back to all-time favorites or find a new fandom. And I still appreciate decent ones, it doesn't have to be a masterpiece all the time for me, as long as it has a good paced plot, decent non-Mary Sue characters I'm content. Though it's true I still have my all-time favorites in terms of manga, anime and fanfiction which are awesome, and most such manga and anime are classics or at least a decade old. Or, like your own comic, contemporary fanfiction and comics which really place emphasis on story and characters.

Now you've got me curious, what kind of fandoms are you into? I always love to share good fanfiction. ^^

I wasn't so much into discovering new fandoms these months as I was into revisiting old fandoms and seeing what's new. My all-time favorite is Ai no Kusabi because it deals with some important issues of social and racial discrimination, and a Romeo-and-Juliet situation. It also includes love coming after sexual coercion, which I know you don't like, but some great fiction don't dwell on that, or really explain why it happened in such a society, being the modus operandi for 2 classes of people. Then there're great fictions based off on Avengers couples centered on LokiXThor/LokiXTony, and the Hobbit pairing of Thranduil/Thorin. Then there's Viewfinder, a manga which yes, debuted with rape, but again I passed over it because the relationship developed further and evolved even in the manga, and there are quite a few great fanworks based on it in its pretty large fandom. The last one I discovered, though it's small and thus just a few great works for me, is the one created around the online game Touken Ranbu, featuring anthropomorphised historical Japanese weapons who are, some of them, pretty handsome or more on the cute side.

As you guessed correctly I've never really liked Ai no Kusabi. Like Zetsuai/Bronze, which I read until I felt that it really got too depressing, it's that rape-to-love kind of story I can barely tolerate... I've read and enjoyed a lot of Ayano Yamane's work, but have never read any fanworks based on them. I'm not sure I would read her works nowadays, though, also because of the amount of dubious consent that's often an issue.
I've read fanfiction of a lot of movie and television series fandoms over the years, but my favorites are Loki/Tony, Loki/Thor, Tony/Steve Rogers, Spock/Jim Kirk, and Harry/Draco. I think I was into Axel/Roxas and Sory/Riku of Kingdom Hearts a long time ago, too... time flies, and interests/fandoms change.

I know what you mean, indeed AnK shows a highly dystopian society and the resulting forbidden relationship, which is fucked up even in the context of a Romeo-Juliet framework due to both characters' own psychological issues. Guess the only reason why I could enjoy and downright love it was because I viewed everything more as a social commentary and less like a love story gone wrong, possibly due to the shortness of the OVA and the extended attention to social commentary in the original novel compared to the scarcity of actual romance. This might explain also why, in contrast, I started really disliking Zetsuai after a point, because the reluctant romance and psychological fuck-ups were too long drawn out, I was expecting to see some normalcy at one point, not continuously expecting communication issues, suicide attempts and the likes. Plus the art style eventually got to me, there's only so much I could take of alien-like characters even back then, when I wasn't so much into semi and full realism.

Unfortunately yes, Yamane also debuted many of her works with dubious consent. Guess I have somewhat of a tolerance if, afterwards, the characters grow to genuinely care. It's a good thing also for me that the Stockholm Syndrome cannot apply to any of her characters. And a lot of fanfics swerve away from the non-consensual altogether, though they do go into consensual nonconsensual roleplay and BDSM at times. But that's just me ofc, not me trying to impose my opinion, hope that's ok with you. I just wanted to discuss this because I really like talking these stuff with people who have a different opinion, but don't feel threatened or disgusted by my own, which is really awesome for me.

that's so awesome. I admit I didn't change fandoms too much, and frankly speaking I was kinda shocked the first time I went into a fandom with characters that weren't gay in that particular, original work, like a movie or something. In my case that was the whole LokiXSomebody shebang, though I mostly enjoy him paired with Tony, Thor and, to a certain extent, Banner. But otherwise I mostly have, so far, only about 7 fandoms I dabble in, mostly because discovering new ones means also watching TV or stuff in adition to then reading the fics so... no time, when also trying to practice art as much and fast as I can. But I'm confident once I start becoming better at art I'll be able to have more time, but also feel confident to make my own smoochy stories involving handsome guys
