Here is the cute little Rattlesnake boy in color.
His name is Viktor (with a K, so that I don’t reference you-know-who)
You know, Margaret has the bottom of a Blue Rock Python. While Viktor has the bottom of a Pink Diamond Rattlesnake. That’s why his coils look so furry and spikey.
He simps for Margaret, but she doesn’t know it yet. Viktor had no idea how to express his feelings for her, so he was being a guardian angel and following her around, keeping her safe from danger.
Nagas have the Power to transform their snake bottoms into human legs, but even mythical creatures can be born mental illnesses and be handicapped. Viktor had a disability that made sure he never ever turned into a human.
His eyes are always all swirly and hypnotized, he wasn’t able to turn it off. Whenever he hypnotized someone, he get’s all anxious, worried and apologetic. Margaret is just like “No, no apologies! Hypnotizing humans is nothing to be afraid of! Don’t worry about them getting angry or hating you, that doesn’t happen cause the trance feels so beautiful. And even if they do get mad, you can just hypnotize them all over again and escape your punishment!”
Unlike Lively and upbeat Margaret growing up all alone in an abandoned building, outcasted from society, shy little Viktor was raised in the original homeland of Nagas and Lamias in India (the rattlesnake side to be exact). Also, his name wasn’t originally Viktor, that’s just what the Americans named him (like how foreign immigrates change their names when they move to another country). When he was 5, he was practicing to use his hypnosis eyes, but then forgot how to change his eyes back to normal and they were all swirly for years. He wasn’t even able to socialize with other nagas, cause they’d fall into a trance when they look at his swirling eyes. That’s why he grew his bangs out. His mom was trying to comfort him, but it didn’t help, so he impatiently waited until he was 18, and he ran away.
He didn’t know what to do, and then got his arm stuck in a rose bush. He had to pull his arm out before any humans would see him… until he laid eyes on… her!
A pretty pink haired girl in a wheelchair and smelled like bugs. It was Margaret! Viktor instantly fell in love with her and followed her home. He was even more surprised to find out she was not human. And that’s how it began.
