My half of a art trade with

He wanted to have a squirrel wearing little red mittens, and a dead tree in the background. It took a while to think of a pose, but I figured out one.

I know the anatomy isn't totally right, but at least it is easily recognizable as a squirrel. I spent a while contemplating on whether I should make the squirrel's eyes totally black like in real life, or have them white with a black pupil. I decided that the black eyes looked creepy.

Did the drawing a 1AM, scanned it at 1AM around a week later, and then the last few days I did bits and pieces in Photoshop.
