Description

An unidentified user known as the Red Battalion Ranger, a member of the Battalion Rangers team from Power Rangers Super Megaforce.

The Battalion Rangers are one of the eight New Powers teams. According to Gosei, the New Powers are Power Rangers teams that have never been seen on Earth. They may originate from another planet like the Aquitar Rangers, from the distant future like the Time Force Rangers, from an alternate universe like the RPM Operator Rangers, or from an ancient era like the Ancient Dino Fury Rangers.

It is believed that Tommy Oliver may have encountered—or at the very least known about—this team, as he possessed documentation about them that was briefly shown in the Power Rangers Dino Thunder episode "Bully for Ethan."

Although the Battalion Rangers appeared to be a production oversight in Power Rangers Super Megaforce, where the New Powers also participated in the Legendary Battle despite never being properly introduced, it cannot be denied that the team has officially become part of the Power Rangers canon.

[MY FANS THEORY]

Do you remember Edenoi, the homeworld of Dex Stewart, the Masked Rider? As established in the Power Rangers universe, Edenoi is officially part of the franchise's canon.

Long ago, during the Golden Age of Zordon, the planet Edenoi was one of Eltar's strongest allies. It was ruled by King Lexian, the grandfather of Dex Stewart. Located within the Andromeda constellation, Edenoi was inhabited by a humanoid alien race that closely resembled humans. However, they were actually an evolved insect species, distinguished by the Mind Crystals embedded in their foreheads.

In ancient times, Edenoi had its own team of Power Rangers known as the Battalion Rangers. However, at one point in history, King Lexian shifted his kingdom's priorities away from military expansion and instead focused on scholarship, craftsmanship, and technological development for civilian society. As a result, the military suffered severe budget cuts, preventing the Battalion Rangers' technology from advancing.

Eventually, Edenoi was invaded by the forces of the Plague Patrol. The Battalion Rangers fought bravely to defend their world, but because their Ranger technology was outdated and underdeveloped, they were ultimately defeated. Edenoi fell to the invaders, and its people were enslaved and forced to mine poisonous gas, gradually transforming their once-thriving world into a barren desert planet.

Determined to avenge his people and liberate Edenoi from the Plague Patrol, King Lexian developed the Masked Rider technology and entrusted its power to his grandson, Dex Stewart.

Years later, Tommy Oliver learned about the Battalion Rangers through his mentor, Zordon. Eventually, Gosei was able to extract the Battalion Rangers' powers from the Morphin Grid, preserving them as one of the Legendary Ranger Keys.

The Battalion Rangers consisted of Wooshi as the Red Ranger, Huba as the Black Ranger, Franky as the Blue Ranger, Cowboy as the Yellow Ranger, and Slojin as the Pink Ranger. I chose these names based on the Dynaman parody that aired in the United States, using the original voice actors from that production as the inspiration for the Battalion Rangers' cast.
