Description
I've been wanting to do one these for a loooong time. It's pretty fun, and I might do it again with some other characters. But for now, I settled for these guys. Now time for the REALLY long part where I try to explain why each of them have their place on the spectrums 8')
Sex: I think this is pretty self explanatory. Hannah's a girl, Terrance, Twist, and Ginger are dudes.
Gender: Once again, self explanatory.
Build: Twist and Terrance are pretty skinny, gangly, dudes. So is Hannah, but she's at least normal for her weight and height, which is why she's farther on the spectrum than them. Ginger's also on the skinny side, but he's probably the most average out of all of them.
Height: Hannah's the shortest out all of them, but she's still pretty tall, being around 5'8. Ginger's a bit taller than her, being 5'11, meanwhile , Terrance and Twist are a way too tall 6'7.
Handedness: Terrance and Ginger are cursed with being lefties. Twist and Hannah are righties.
Physical Ability: Terrance, Twist, and Ginger are pretty average in the physical ability department. Ginger a little less so, since I imagine him being a dork who's not that into sports or physical activity. (Though, neither are Terrance and Twist) Hannah on the other hand, has a job that pretty much requires her to sit around, strain herself mentally, and she drinks copious amounts of coffee so she can stay up and complete more work. That takes a pretty heavy toll on her body, so I doubt she's very strong.
Intelligence (Scholarly): Twist isn't a complete idiot or anything, and he knows more than enough about how humans function to get by in life. But, it's not like he's ever graduated college, or gotten a PhD for anything. I'm a little iffy about where Terrance is education wise. He probably attended school when he was a kid, but then dropped out when he was in his early teens to try and get a job to help out his family. Later on, I can imagine him enrolling himself in college to ensure that he'd get a better job, but I don't know if he'd commit to that for too long. Ginger and Hannah both finished school with pretty good grades, but I wouldn't call them GENIUSES.
Wisdom, cleverness: I definitely went more by wisdom rather than cleverness with this one, so keep that in mind. I'd say Twist, Terrance, and Hannah are all kinda on the same boat there. But if you want life advise, Ginger's the one to go to.
Education level: See Intelligence (scholarly)
Social Ability: Terrance is the least social out of all of them. He isn't completely absent, but he'd rather not have to interact with strangers. Hannah is kinda the same way, but she pushes herself to talk to people a lot more than Terrance does. Ginger really likes talking to people, it doesn't take much effort for him to strike up a conversation with someone. Twist LIVES for attention.
Perceptiveness: Twist and Terrance are pretty much the same here. They're not GREAT at picking up people's emotions, but if someone is showing clear signs of being upset, or angry, they'll pick up on it. Hannah's pretty good at telling people's emotions, especially since she's an investigator. She's sort of trained herself to pay attention to gestures or things people do that'll give off hints of what they're feeling. Given the right information, Ginger can read you like a book. It's kinda scary.
Readability: Good luck with getting Terrance to tell you anything that's going on with him. You have to be reeeeal close to him for that to happen. Twist is pretty much the same way. Hannah's also pretty hard to read. Ginger can be too, depending on how he's feeling. If he wants to hide something from you, he's gonna do it well. But he doesn't really have anything TOO bad to hide, so he's pretty open.
Intro-extrovert: See social ability.
Gender Appearance: Uh...Hannah looks like a girl, and the rest of them look like guys?
Sexuality: They're all straight.
Romanticism: I'm honestly not sure what this one meant, so I skipped it.
Romantic: Terrance doesn't really care about romance. If anything, he tries to avoid it. It's just too messy. Hannah isn't the most romantic person either, and with how busy she is, it's not really something she has time for. But, she's not COMPLETELY apposed to it. Ginger and Twist eat that sappy romance stuff up. ESPECIALLY Twist.
Affectionate: Terrance isn't the most huggy person in the world. You gotta be pretty close to him to get him to hug you back instead of just standing there awkwardly until you let him go. For Twist, it really depends. He prefers to do more intimate things than just snuggle. But, you can bet he loved cuddling with his wife, maybe even to the point where it got obnoxious. Ginger's always ready for a hug. You wanna hug him? Go for it.
Disposition (outwardly): Twist isn't too nice of a guy. If he doesn't like someone (which is most often the case) he'll probably assert dominance by being super passive aggressive. If he continues to not like you, he'll be flat out rude. Not to mention, he gives off really strong "this guy is trouble" vibes. Terrance and Hannah don't give off the best impressions either, especially since they both have a really bad case of RBF. Though Hannah is a bit better. Ginger radiates sunshine.
Disposition (inwardly): Inside, Twist falls in more of the morally grey area rather than flat out evil. He loves to intimidate people, but he won't actually do anything to them unless they REALLY tick him off. Terrance and Hannah are overall pretty good people, and lean more towards the kind side than anything else. Ginger once again radiates sunshine.
Petty: Oh you BET Twist is petty. He'll never forget that ONE time you cut him off while driving, or looked at him funny when he was JUST CHECKING those romance novels at Barns and Nobel. Terrance and Hannah try not to let little things get to them, but Hannah is better with brushing them off than Terrance is. Ginger has four kids. He doesn't have the energy to be petty.
Sane: I mean, being willing to kill people because you don't like them doesn't exactly make you the sanest person in the world. Twist isn't flat out CRAZY, but...he has his moments. Terrance has also been through somethings that have kinda messed with him. And if committing suicide multiple times doesn't show that you're at least a little bit mentally unstable, I don't know what does. Hannah's been through some crazy stuff, especially in her past, but she's doing pretty well. Ginger's all good for the most part.
Friendliness: While Twist tends to be more on the rude side, he DOES have friends, believe it or not. Well, one friend. He has one true friend. But whenever said friend isn't around, he's able to put on his 'charming and suave' act long enough to socialize with people so he can at least pretend he has more than one friend. Terrance doesn't come off was a rude guy, but he's not all sunshine and rainbows either. In order to get him to be genuinely friendly with you, you have to be his friend. Hannah is pretty much the same way, though she's willing to be friendly with strangers. Ginger's a nice guy all around.
Stoic: Twist can be kinda moody. It's hard to keep a straight face when your temperature fluctuates with your mood. With Terrance, it depends. For the most part, he keeps his "don't talk to me", annoyed, expression. But, he doesn't keep it on ALL the time, especially when he's showing extreme emotion. Ginger's surprisingly good at keeping a straight face. He doesn't keep one all the time, but it can be useful. Hannah's better than any of them when it comes to being stoic, especially since she puts most of her energy into working rather than showing emotion.
Graceful: Being the awkwardly tall and lanky guy he is, you can bet Terrance isn't the most graceful guy. Though, guess he can't be excused by his height since for some reason Twist can keep his balance and posture like it's no one's business. Idk about Ginger, I guess being kinda clumsy fits in with the whole dork thing he has going on. Hannah is pretty good with keeping her grace. I like to think she took dance lessons when she was a kid. Maybe ballet or jazz.
Stubbornness: Wanna know something? Terrance is secretly a pushover. Well, not a COMPLETE pushover. But chances are, if you ask him to do something over and over and over again, he'll probably do it just so you'll stop asking. I can imagine Ginger being a pushover, especially in his younger years, but parenting has taught him to grow more of a backbone. Twist is preeeetty stubborn. When he says he's not going to do something, he's not going to do something, unless he finds out it befits him in some way. Something has to REALLY push Hannah to do something she says she's not going to do.
Courageous: Twist may be big on intimidation, but when it comes down to it, the guy will do nearly anything to save his own skin. He HATES pain, and if he has to runaway from something in order to avoid it, so be it. I wouldn't call Ginger a coward, but he is on the more cautious side. Terrance doesn't really care too easily. Which makes sense, since he doesn't have to worry about death. But still, he'd rather avoid danger. (being suddenly spooked is another story) Hannah's not stupid, but she's done quite a few risky things, especially for her investigations.
Loyal: It depends with Twist. He's not too great with commitment, but when he gets saddled into a relationship he actually cares about (which is very rare) he'll do what he can to keep it together. Terrance and Hannah will both be loyal to people they care about, but, they're both really cautious when it comes to getting attached to people, especially Terrance. You got a friend in Ginger.
Lawfulness: Twist doesn't care too much about lawfulness, but he's not too big on getting trouble either. He'll follow them when they're convenient for him. Hannah's no criminal, especially since her job revolves around catching criminals. Buuuut, she might have broken a few rules before. But y'know, it ended up being worth it. Terrance isn't big on getting in trouble either. But, he's broken a couple laws in his time. Ginger is a good citizen.
Attitude: With all the stuff he's been through, Terrance has a pretty pessimistic view on life. But, he's not very vocal about it. With Hannah and Twist, it depends on whether things are going their way. If they are, great! If they're not, screw the world. This is probably much more extreme with Twist. Ginger is a 'the glass is half full' person through and through.
Sorry if this has a ton of spelling mistakes. It's late and I need to sleep
