Nelly - Portrait — Description

This is another one of my D&D characters! She is a Water Genasi Wizard who is currently traipsing the Sword Coast trying to figure out some weird things that are going on with certain gods. She grew up deep under the sea in waters north of Luskan (not quite in Icewindale). She lost her brother in a white dragon attack and blames herself.
Much of her early adult life was spent as first mate on a pirate ship named the Frozen Skull under a horrible captain name Nikki Grey. During these years she was actually a sorcerer... But she vowed to never use her instead abilities again when she tried to lead a mutiny and got a bunch of people killed instead.
She spent the next decade or so actually studying magic and becoming a Wizard instead. She was a hermit living in a cave during these years and only went to Waterdeep from time to time for supplies. Then one day she decided to go out into the world again and that is where her current adventure began.
