BACKSTORY

Aternis was born in Sincity, which isn't the best place to be in. Many crimes happen there, most common are robberies, homicides, and attacks. When he was only 6 his family were killed in a vicious attack by a notourious gang that ran through Sincity leaving only him and one of his sibblings alive. He fled to the main city by the palace and was found by King Lunaris and Queen Celestial's son Vanhana after hearing that his mother couldn't have another child due to complications so he went to the city hoping to find someone. Vanhana took Aternis back to the palace and was glad to see his mother happy and himself knowing that she had another child and he had a brother of his own. They trained together and always did most things together. How ever, they were both picked on at school due to them being royalty at a normal school, but they always had three friends defend them, Zenith Viron, Jekyll Hydeson, and Roan Svali. All was peaceful then, until Vanhana was killed by a shadow hound while Lunaris and Aternis grabbed some medicine for him while he was sick. And that day sparked the biggest, bloodiest, and most brutal war in Ethsirin history, The Flame War. Aternis trained harder than ever to avenge his brother and wanting to end it as soon as possible, but instead the war drove his anger to his head and blinded him with rage, making his way up to captian after his mentor was killed during battle. Aternis ended up killing the flare cat prince Sonara in battle for the Soul Of Vineyard and kept it hidden since then. Rivalries sparked between him and Zenith causing them to fight and eventually tearing out Zenith's eye, leaving horrible scars and a burtal reminder of how Aternis was at the time. Since then, the two have stopped fighting and the war soon ended only 200 years ago and peace was finally restored to the kingdoms. He felt happy finally and was able to be calm, meeting some of his non Ethsirin friends. He soon had his prince 'tattoo' *which is actually a branding permently on his skin* and an eclipse themed tattoo for the eclipse that happened not so long ago for them. Since then, he has had to deal with some shadow hound border attacks and settle conflicts, but it will help him down the road to be the next king after Lunaris.
