Description
Finished my entry for this month's #complimentarycolorschallenge ! This month has been a crazy one and I wasn't able to start this one until a few days ago. It was a mad rush to try to get it done in time! Sticking to only 2 colors was a lot harder than I thought!I knew I wanted to paint a werewolf but beyond that I had no ideas prior to starting this one on stream. The chat really helped with some amazing ideas, references, and feedback to help push the design. It's actually a lot of fun allowing the image to evolve live on stream based on suggestions from the chat because I get to discover the image as I go! It's quite the journey! Despite it being ultra rushed I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!
I stream most of my art live, you should come hang out sometime! www.twitch.tv/stumpyfongo

wow nice stumpyfongo. you are a real master indeed! Stunning as usual.
I guess blue that complements orange right? and that's both brown orage for fur and gold orange for metal part. that's genius.
I didn't take the challenge because of work and that's too bad cause it would be an excellent exercice!
I always think of complimentary colors as "opposing", you know, like green that pop up more within red. But never thought of how they could marry so well together like in your illustration.
Thanks for this lesson, stumpyfongo sensei!
