DAMN this is utterly amazing!!!!! Its so realistic, which frankly is something that needs to occur more often in Warhammer artwork, even on the codexes, its all too stylized. Only critique I have is the face looks, largely the mouth looks a tad too wide, the upper lip fades a little too much towards the end, I think.

I had my own personal hell when it came to 3/4 mouth, so I followed the lines of the previous artist. Thanks btw I'll try to modify.

Expertly done. I just find it odd that a battle sister is crying over a dead space marine. Of course, it'd be appropriate that she would be upset over the deaths of her allies, but crying? Over a space marine rather than another sister? I don't know, it's just weird to me. But yeah, fantastic work, indeed. It is interesting to see a sister in such a vulnerable state.

The loss of a single Astartes is the loss of an Angel. She weeps for a lost friend and protector, she weeps for a lost Angel.

I don't feel that that statement truly justifies the overemotional reaction from the battle sister unless she had come to build a serious, personal relationship with the fallen Astartes. She is, after all, holding the helmet so closely, so intimately, and so distraught that one would assume that they were really close. Guess we gotta wait for the actual explanation, though.

Like a Black Library book? Or do you mean a very long fanfic story? Either way, I'd like to know this story, that is if you don't mind explaining or linking me to such a story. It'd be helpful with me better understanding your great art piece.

Since its in form of FB messages, I still have to work on it. And I don't have permission from the other writer to share it yet xD
