Roommates... — Description

Kimberly and Kelsie, two friends who worked as secretaries at different companies, decided to go in on an apartment together. They had lived together for only a week when they fell victim to a break in just after they returned home from work. Kimberly was left tied up and gagged with duct tape in her bedroom, while Kelsie was left bound and gagged in the living room. The burglars disconnected their landline, and they also took their phones, before they left both women helplessly bound and gagged while also taking off with their jewelry, laptops, credit cards, and some cash. Both women struggled to get free while letting out muffled cries for help.
"OMG! Why did they do this to us?" Kimberly thought. "All they had to do was take what they wanted, and we cooperated with them. They didn't have to leave us tied up."
"Why did this have to happen to us?" Kelsie thought. "Will anyone find us and untie us? We could end up staying like this all night! And we'll both miss work tomorrow, or maybe we'll just be late."
